Kanon completely embodies the made up word I love so much: “unbridaled”. She is a beautiful bohemian bride from Texas who currently lives in France with her fiance, Guillaume. Worldly and even otherworldly, Kanon is the free spirited type who can easily light up a room/make an instant friend/get out of trouble with a wink. She’s the type of chick most girls wish they could be. Effortlessly charming…that’s Kanon! (I’ve heard she gets it from BOTH of her parents!)

Kanon will marry Guillaume in a couple of weeks, but until then, enjoy these frames from a fun morning in Fort Worth during which we dodged a rainstorm, took over a hot dog stand, and jaywalked with the best of ‘em.

Ohmigawd. Are you kidding me? How gorgeous is she? How French is the image?

Candice and Chris are hitched, so while I am working on their images, I thought I would show you the Unbridaled session I have had hidden away for a couple of months. We met up at Chris’ grandmother’s house to continue the family tradition of using that environment for bridal sessions. Every nook and cranny was gorgeous, as was Candice!

Sure, she is stunning here, but I can’t wait to show you how radiant and full of smiles she was on the actual wedding day!

Lauren :: Unbridaled

Lauren is one of the coolest chicks I know. There has got to be only a handful of girls in the world who can possibly know which Vogue editorial spread from WELL over a year ago that I am referring to in a conversation and recall specific details back to me. Amazing, really. Lauren continues to blow me away. Showing up at our session several weeks ago, this chica came ready to rock it with gorgeous accessories and a rad attitude. I said “rad”, folks. Not “bad”. Though maybe I could have meant “bad” in the good way, if you want to take a trip back to the 1980s. It’s your call.

So loving those specs.

Holly :: Unbridaled!

Holly and I go way back. We met at TCU the first day we both joined our sorority and have been tight ever since. She is just that kind of friend that you can totally count on and totally be yourself around and she’ll still love you. Plus, she was the one responsible for getting Bobby and I together, so I owe her a ton. She’s also Millie’s “Aunt”, and a great one at that. Her warmth and sense of humor draw everyone in…especially her super cool fiance, Nathan.

They are getting hitched this weekend, and I am photographing it all! I can’t wait for this shindig…I am ecstatic it is finally here! To mark the occasion, we did an Unbridaled sesh a couple of weeks ago, complete with multiple accessories and an adorable little ballerina. What a blast it was, and Holly was workin’ it!

Holly’s dad is an exec at John Deere, so we just died when we found this gem.
Doesn’t Holly look mah-ve-lous?!

Elaine :: Unbridaled

Somehow, Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway morphed and turned into one of my clients. Crazy, right? True story. Just look below.

Really, her name is Elaine, and she and her sweet fiance, Adam, are getting hitched this summer in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. On the beach. I can’t wait!!! We had so much fun frolicking around Dallas last Thursday, and I am super proud of the images that came from our adventure. I am especially proud knowing that I tripped on trolley tracks on McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas, bloodied my knees, and cracked one of my favorite ($$$) lenses BEFORE I EVEN TOOK A SINGLE PICTURE. I guess that line that I always told my parents to get them off my back when I was up against a paper/test/project deadline was true…I really do work better under pressure! I’m actually NOT full of b.s.!

My favorite Unbridaled session yet. ‘Nuff said. Every picture is a favorite. The girl’s a rock star, a newlywed (just photographed her fabulous wedding over the weekend in Austin), and my new friend. Wesley is beyond vivacious and completely lights up a room. To top it off, she has a heart of gold. I have been DYING to put these images on the blog since the day I shot them, and now that her big day is over, I am letting the cat out of the bag. Me-frickin’-ow.

This girl radiates energy from head to toe. Natalie is such a vivacious girl, and it was a joy to get to photograph her. She’s sassy, has divine taste, and isn’t afraid to squeal like a little girl. Gotta love that combo!

Mindy :: Unbridaled

Miss Mindy is gearing up for her big day, that being May 17, 2008. She and Christopher have a wonderfully intimate and meaningful day planned, and it has been so fun hearing about all of the details as they have put all of the pieces together.

Last Sunday, Mindy and her entourage (2 beautiful bmaids + 1 hot hair stylist) met up with me and we tore up the town…well, as much as you can tear it up without actually tearing the dress up. If I do say so myself, this session turned out great!

Their wedding design revolves around reds and oranges, so voila! A red building built JUST for Mindy. Well, you can pretend.

I am just loving these next 4 shots. This is a little detailed wall outside of a dentist’s office.

Hot damn!

Mindy has a very wisecrack-y way about her, which I just love.
What I adore the most though, is when she laughs at herself and crinkles her nose. Super cute!

Taken inside my office building, I think this one has a definite vintage vibe.
Love the reference to the new world she is about to enter!
