One of my sorority sisters from TCU has one of the (seriously, sincerely, genuinely…true story) most affable babies I have ever met/photographed. There is no doubt in my mind that this kid is gonna have an easy life. She’s pretty. She’s happy. She’s funny. She’s smart. She’s got mad tummy time skillz. It doesn’t get much better than that, folks.

Meet the gorgeous little darling, Conley.

Karch is 6 Months!

The tiny little Karch is now a chubby and adorable 6 month old.

I can’t handle the cuteness. Can you?

Karch is like the Rob Pattinson of babies. Ladies…watch out!

Ohhhhhhh. I see. I can’t have the keys to the car even though I am THIS CUTE. Good to know.

Oh, how Sadie is growing! She is so very active now, and is movin’-and-a-shakin’ with the best of ‘em. I could hardly keep up! She crawls and cruises, still loves her doggies, and even let me hold her while SHE held and drank her bottle. What a big girl, and still so darn cute!

Taylor Kate is 1!

The day has come, folks. Taylor Kate is a ONE YEAR OLD! I am really just in shock, as I remember photographing her when she was still in Amie’s tummy! Then came the day I REALLY met her, and instantly fell in love with her. And again and again! How could I NOT? She is such a doll!

She has learned so many tricks up to this point, and she loves showing them off. What’s best, though, is Taylor’s darling and happy little personality. She is such a charmer, and I can already imagine Michael sitting on his front steps with a shotgun waiting to meet potential suitors of hers!

For her one year old session, we met at the pond where Michael proposed to Amie.

I so remember the days when Millie did this.

She is already testing the grownups. Smart one, that Taylor!

Ay, Dios Mio! I’m a one year old!

The bliss of trying one’s first birthday cake has morphed into all out sugar shock, and Taylor is in heaven!

Will is a Newborn!

Say hello to my newest “family” member, Baby William (”Will”). Though we don’t share DNA, we share lots of love and will be making memories for years to come.

Sarah and Scott are doing a great job…I am beyond impressed with their natural parenting ability. They don’t need much advice, but I am so blessed to be a part of his early days by giving them a helping hand and capturing the emotions that come along with this whirlwind of milestones.

Sarah’s Aunt Sharon came to visit and Will was in love with her!
Every time she held him he zonked out.

Sarah’s uber creative cousin, September, came out to see Will also and couldn’t get enough of those toes!

Sarah’s grandmother, Nellie, also visited.

She was a bit obsessed with keeping the hat on and the feet covered like any good 94 year old lady would be.

Seriously? Seriously. This is the most gorgeous nursery I have ever seen.
And I have seen a lot.
Sarah designed it all…that’s talent.
It’s so tranquil it makes me want to take a nap upon entering!

I want a ginormous print of this.
It just makes me giggle.

Hey lady killer. Stop being so rad. You’re supposed to be a nerd until you marry Millie.
Don’t ruin the master plan, dude!

Sterling Maye is 6 Months Old!

Miss Sterling Maye is just getting cuter and cuter if that is even possible. She is now half a year old, and time is just flying by. It was great to see Tomi and Randy, and to help Chandler celebrate his birthday, and of course, to photograph Sterling’s favorite past-time…a bubble bath! Bubblicious, baby!

I love a good smush face.

Chandler got to wear the birthday sombrero…it was HIS day.

Ethan :: Spring 2009

I can’t believe I am about to do this. I am literally going to post 26 images from, NO, not a wedding…a baby session. Well, he’s not quite a baby, but not yet a kid, but still. Whatever. 26 images is a freakin’ LOT. I’m just in love with this work, and think it is very representative of my style with babies and kids. I suppose it has something to do with his mommy. She and I lived together at TCU for a bit. We ruled. Kate and Kelly are IN, let the fun BEGIN, and all that. So, naturally, I love little Ethan like he is part of the fam. Plus, he is Millie’s future husband. Let’s hope she has a thing for younger guys.

Anywho, Kel came down from Connecticut for Holly’s wedding, and she wanted me to photograph the E-man. We had a blast chasing him all over and watching him explore the surroundings. He is a sweet, darling child with a bright spirit (read: energetic as hell) and killer eyes. I think Kelly and Marshall are in for it. DUNZO. Cooked. Good luck, guys!

Dash :: Spring 2009

This little baby is all growns up. What is happening? It is blowing my mind. I absolutely LOVE watching my Juxtapose babies learn new tricks and skillz, but Dash is honestly starting to make me feel old. He is walking and talking and maneuvering all over the Dallas Arboretum (better than I can, I might add), and though I might feel the urge to check into Botox, I cannot be more thrilled that his fab mama, Anne, has been so loyal.

Miss Audrey is getting so grownup! I am amazed by her little personality and her abundance of smiles. She is a charmer, for sure! It was so wonderful to see Michael and Amber and the miniature princess again, and I am just loving what we captured.
