Carissa + Luke :: Hitched
The super human (I mean seriously…looks AND brains? Not fair.) Carissa + Luke made it official a couple of weeks ago, and once again, I was reminded why I love my job so much. Clients who have an interest in emotion and sentiment and substance over material inspire me to no end, and this couple was that times ten. Their super human love for each other radiates, and everyone who is near them can’t help but be kind and compassionate as well.
Thank you so much to the Gonzalez and Uribarri families and all of Carissa + Luke’s friends who made Mom and me feel so at home. What a night filled with true joy for everyone involved.

The gorgeous Carissa gets even gorgeouser.

Luke gave Carissa this jewelry a while back and she decided to surprise him by pairing it with her wedding dress.

Work it, sister.

Held at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, their ceremony was a stunner.

Daddy’s girl!

Hurry! The flower girl forgot her basket! Run!

The giveaway involved Zoe, the train bearer/maid of honor due to the rain-drenched ground.

What a glorious moment!

I loved this as soon I snapped it.
The wind blew as Luke’s dad was reading his part of the ceremony, and Carissa closed her eyes and soaked in the moment.

Lauren, the flower girl was to die for. Her looks continue to barrel me over.

We did it, we did it! Eeee! (Can you hear them through the screen?)

Party on, party people, lemme hear some noise.

After the ceremony, Carissa + Luke hopped in the back of my car and Mom and I took them to the Fort Worth Stockyards for a little fun. Carissa even brought her fab boots she wore during their engagement session, much to my delight!
Just a little FYI, we LOVE LOVE LOVE it when couples allow enough time for portraits between the ceremony and the reception.
It seriously rocks our world, and I am pretty sure the clients that do it like it, too.

Love shack, baby, love shack!

What stunners!

Are you dying yet?

Oh, they are so precious!

How ’bout now? Officially slayed? Yep. Thought so.

Ready for the party, we headed back to the Botanic Garden for their reception.

This, folks, is true bubble-blowing talent.

Guess this little guy didn’t like the rendition of “At Last”.

This is hardcore.
I don’t think the flower girl stopped dancing barefoot from the moment the music began.
I love it and am disgusted by it all at the same time.

And they’re off!

Mom got this uber cool shot!
Thanks Mom for rockin’ with me during this funtabulous wedding!

Carissa + Luke, I adore you and truly hope to stay in touch with you.
I will keep you in my thoughts as you make this next transition and can’t wait for you to forever “stare at each other” on the same continent, in the same country, same city, same house, on the same couch.
Big hugs to you both!!!
