Philip’s Fabulous Fiftieth
Ask me what my favorite event has been in my career as a photographer. Go ahead. Ask.
I will tell you that it was Philip’s birthday party that went down last Saturday.
The location—vacation-worthy
The food—a mathematical equation involving art and insanely delectable ingredients
The decor—meticulously arranged and coordinated to create the chicest, most comfortable place to par-tay
The guest of honor—a cool dude
I would love to thank the team from Caplan Miller Events for their amazing work designing and coordinating the party of the century, as well as for recruiting a dream team of vendors.
David Kurio blew the roof off with his stellar floral arrangements. Howard from First In Last Out Designs established an out of this world experience for the guests with his lighting design. The Four Seasons had the guests fully sated in the catering department with their picture-perfect eats. Outstanding work, guys!
Now, for the images…the best part! Eeeee!
Lake Travis is truly stunning. What a perfect match for David Kurio’s floral designs!

Seriously, the decor was the chicest. I was in awe.

Sweet niblets, the place looked AMAZING.

Yum! Appletinis!

This is a real person. Look closely!

Oh. My. Goodness. The food was beautifully done!

Delish!

We had a brief thunderstorm situation to deal with just before the guests arrived.
The girls at Caplan Miller had it UNDER CONTROL, babes. Let me tell ya!

I could have photographed the guests for at least another complete day.
There were so many fascinating people at this shindig that I was like a little kid in a candy store.

The entertainment features were Mysterious Ways, the Spazmatics (who I want to marry…all of them at once), and SISTER SLEDGE!
It’s a given that people were gettin’ their groove on!

Speech from the birthday boy.

The 15 minute fireworks show was crazy cool. I honestly have never seen a better one in my life.

Amazing. Towels were needed. Loved it and crave more. Maybe next year?
